I was diagnosed with Myasthenia Gravis in 2001 experiencing symptoms with drooping eyelids, double vision, slurred speech, restricted swallowing, and weak facial muscle movement. Since 2007 I was on 10-20 mg of Predinose every other day and have not been able to wean off Predinose below 10 mg every other day. The doctors (Neurologist) tried other ‘steroid sparing’ drugs but the body was never able to adapt because it affected my liver enzyme and white blood cell count.

Over the last 5 years, the MG got worse and in 2011, I had a severe MG crisis that led me to the ICU in the hospital. I was in ICU for 3 weeks with a feeding tube- I was unable to swallow, unable to speak, and had double vision. The doctors gave me high doses of Predinose and IVIg treatments while in the hospital and I ended up gaining over 70lbs and experiencing negative side effects from the Predinose use.

Since then, I’ve tried many different natural healing methods from Fish Oil, IV Vitamin therapy, Anti-oxidant supplements, Diet/Exercise, Natural remedies, and more – however, nothing was consistently improving my condition and I wasn’t able to wean off the Predinose below 10 mg every other day.

I moved to California in 2014 from Toronto Canada and I found Dr. Frankel through online research about cannabis oil helping various auto-immune diseases. After reading the successes of other auto-immune patients, I decided to try Cannabis Oil for myself. I have always been a very athletic, health conscience person, and I have never smoked or used Cannabis before. I am able to maintain a good quality of life without taking any harmful steroid medications that cause negative side effects.
